Premier League outfit Leeds United have, on Monday, sealed a deal for the club’s 5th signing of the summer transfer window.

The latest player set to take his talents to west Yorkshire with a view to the 2022/23 campaign? Tyler Adams.

For those not aware, midfielder Adams has been hotly tipped for an Elland Road switch for some time now.

Amid compatriot Jesse Marsch’s ongoing hunt for reinforcements to his side’s ranks in the middle of the park, the 23-year-old was swiftly identified as a key target.

All of this of course comes with Kalvin Phillips’ Manchester City switch having long represented one of the worst kept secrets in football, a transfer which was finally made official earlier today.

In turn, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to hear of the transfer team at Elland Road swiftly following suit in pushing their own midfielder deal over the line.

As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leeds have reached a full agreement with RB Leipzig for the signing of the aforementioned Adams.

The move, it is understood, will set the Peacocks back a sum in the region of £20 million, plus add-ons.

Adams follows all of Rasmus Kristensen, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca and Darko Gyabi to Yorkshire, amid what has proven an altogether productive opening to the transfer window on the part of the powers that be at Leeds.
