The latest social media activity on the part of Tottenham star Richarlison has, this weekend, piqued widespread attentions across the club’s fanbase.

Versatile attacker Richarlison, of course, sealed a move to the Lilywhite half of north London earlier this month.

In a series of posts across the club’s website and social platforms, Spurs confirmed that the Brazilian international has put pen to paper on terms in the English capital through the summer of 2027, in a deal worth an alleged £60 million.

Richarlison, of course, takes his talents to England’s capital boasting quite a reputation, on the back of a series of impressive campaigns running whilst on the books of Everton.

One particular outing last season, though, against none other than his new club, saw another long scrutinised aspect of the 25-year-old’s game take its place front and centre in the headlines.

This came in the form of Richarlison’s fiery nature.

During a Premier League fixture at Goodison Park, the Brazilian was involved in lengthy back-and-forth with the equally ‘spirited’ Cristian Romero.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the pair time and time again took aim at one another, courtesy of a series of jibes both physical and verbal.

And the problems did not end there, as Romero took to social media post-match to ‘like’ a fan post, published at the expense of his fellow South American.

This weekend, though, Spurs’ new signing has moved to bury the hatchet once and for all.

In his own post on Instagram, Richarlison unveiled a highlight reel of just some of the heated exchanges between he and Romero last season, followed by a clip of the pair embracing at Hotspur Way this weekend.

All of this is accompanied by the caption ‘Now friends’:
