Juventus have made an approach for Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães, according to the Independent.
The Old Lady are looking for a new central defender with Matthijs de Ligt poised to join Bayern Munich.
Juve were initially looking at doing a deal for Kalidou Koulibaly, but he is set to join Chelsea.
Juventus approach Arsenal for Gabriel
Juve are keen on signing the Arsenal defender and believe a deal could be possible.
The Italian club have a good relationship with the Gunners and they hope this will help in negotiations.
The north London club also have good depth in that area of the pitch following the return of William Saliba.
Mikel Arteta’s side would demand at least £50 million for the defender.
A swap deal has also been discussed with Adrien Rabiot’s name being brought up in discussions.
The 24-year-old is open to moving to Turin.

Arsenal working on Zinchenko deal
Arsenal have started work on a deal to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City, according to the Athletic.
The Gunners look set to miss out on Lisandro Martínez who is heading to Manchester United.
Arteta’s side are now prioritising a deal for the Ukrainian international.
