An insight into the plans of Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira for youngster Malcolm Ebiowei has been provided on Sunday.

Highly-regarded attacker Ebiowei, of course, secured a move to south London late last month.

After piquing widespread attentions across the Premier League landscape owing to his scintillating displays over the 2nd-half of the season with Derby County, it was Palace who ultimately beat out the competition, to bring the 18-year-old to Selhurst Park on a five-year deal.

The widespread assumption, in turn, was that Ebiowei would subsequently be farmed out on loan for the season ahead, to continue his development whilst securing first-team minutes on a week-to-week basis.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, however, then in fact, this does not look set to be the case.

Instead, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, amongst other sources, the ex-Arsenal and Chelsea talent looks primed to remain in south London for the season ahead.

This comes with Ebiowei having made an instant impression on new boss Patrick Vieira, to the point that the iconic Frenchman is ready to afford the teenage prodigy the opportunity to carve out a starting berth for himself in the Eagles’ ranks this season.
