Gunfire and explosions are rocking the Sudan capital of Khartoum. Residents remain trapped inside their homes as the country’s two warring military factions battle for control. Kenya’s President William Ruto is vowing to arrange a « face to face » meeting between the two generals to end the fighting which has been raging for two months. Meanwhile the humanitarian crisis is showing no signs of easing despite diplomatic efforts in Jeddah.
