Authorities in the Libyan city of Derna have been buring the dead in mass graves. The official death toll stands at over 5 thousand, but that number is expected to rise substantially with over 9 thousand people still missing. UN agencies meanwhile say most of the deaths in Libya could have been avoided if early warning and emergency management systems had functioned properly. FRANCE 24’s Oliver Farry reports.
