A hat-trick for Jack Harrison proved decisive, although a late Jarred Bowen miss came close to sharing the honours in an exciting end-to-end encounter in west London.
However, two further injury woes appeared as both Adam Forshaw and Junior Firpo were forced off midway through the first half with hamstring injuries, handing Marcelo Bielsa further selection headaches with only one player older than 20 on his substitutes bench.

But now, they have been dealt a piece of good news on the injury front.
The latest on midfielder
Now an update about the injury to Adam Forshaw has been forthcoming, from the midfielder himself.
Taking to Instagram, the Leeds man posted a picture of the injury, with the caption revealing the severity of the hamstring problem.
Forshaw wrote:
“Thanks for all the messages, it’s only a small hamstring injury.
I’m fighting to be ready for Saturday, if not I’ll be back straight after the break ⚽️.
Brilliant performance from everyone yesterday ”

With Leeds so low on senior players at present, they will be very grateful to hear the latest news, and praying that he can indeed be fit for Saturday’s clash with Newcastle United, in a game that the visiting side need to win.
